Breakfast porridge with cinnamon & blueberries

Recipe Ingredients for Phil's Porridge

0.25 cup Barley, Pearled
0.35 cup Oat Bran
0.75 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 cup raw Blueberries

Recipe Directions for Phil's Porridge

  1. Simmer barley in water for 20 minutes

  2. add 1/3 cup of oat bran and 1-2 tspns of ground cinnamon - stir for 20 seconds.

  3. Add 1/4 cup of skim milk and simmer for 2-3 minutes or until desired consistency

  4. serve with 1/2 cup of skim milk, 1 cup of blueberries & Splenda to personal taste - you won't be hungry all monring!
