filling and very tasty dinner. The calories are less because I used light butter and the counter doesn't recognize that.

Recipe Ingredients for pheasant & wild rice

1 1/2 cup wild rice, boiled in water
8 oz. cream of mushroom soup, fat free
1/4 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup button mushrooms
8 oz. pheasant breasts, baked
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon butter, light, land of lakes with canola oil
1 teaspoon olive oil

Recipe Directions for pheasant & wild rice

  1. boil 1 box wild rice for +/- 50 minutes according to package instructions.

  2. Saute veges in the oil & butter with about 1/4 cup water.

  3. Mix everything except the pheasant and pour into a baking dish.

  4. Put pheasant on top of rice mixture and tightly seal and bake at 275 for 3 hours.
