They say it's for pizza, but I like it for mac & cheese. I left the oil out of the recipe. For richer cheese, whisk in a tablespoon of olive or canola oil with the water at the end.

Recipe Ingredients for PETA's Vegan Melty Pizza Cheese

1 cup water
2 tbsp corn starch
1/4 cups nutritional yeast
1 tbsp barley flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp water

Recipe Directions for PETA's Vegan Melty Pizza Cheese

Whisk the corn starch into the water over the stove. Stir in all other ingredients except additional water. Stir over medium heat until it starts to thicken, then let it bubble for 30 seconds. Whisk vigorously. Whisk in the additional water after cheese has thickened.
