Recipe Ingredients for Pesto Shrip Pasta

8 ounces uncooked spaghetti
1 cup basil
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 garlic cloves
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pound fresh asparagus
3/4 pound shrimp
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Recipe Directions for Pesto Shrip Pasta

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions.

  2. In a blender combine;basil, lemon juice, garlic, salt & 1 Tablespoon of olive oil.

  3. In a large skillet saute the asparagus in the remaining olive oil until crisp-tender.

  4. Add mixture and shrimp to the cooked spaghetti and mix.
