Recipe Ingredients for Pesto

1 1/2 oz basil
3 T extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup almonds, toasted
4 cloves garlic
1 dash salt
1 oz grated parmesan

Recipe Directions for Pesto

  1. Blanch the garlic for 45 seconds in boiling water. Peel and place in food processor.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and process until it becomes a paste.

  3. Serve with your favorite pasta.
