Quick and simple pesto. Based on Jamie Oliver's recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Pesto

1/4 cup pine nuts
3/4 cup fresh basil
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Pesto

  1. Roast the pine nuts.

  2. Crush everything with a mortar and pestle.

  3. Add enough olive oil to bind it all together.

  4. Adjust for taste.
