This is my healthier alternative to pesto with the regular ingredients. Tastes just the same as regular pesto but as you can see, it is better for you than regular pesto.

Recipe Ingredients for Pesto

8 oz basil leaves
1 cloves garlic
1 oz swiss cheese
1 oz extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice
1 dash salt

Recipe Directions for Pesto

Combine all ingredients in a mixer and blend until a green paste is formed. Serve with spaghetti or any other dish to your delight.
