Adapted from a Cooking Light recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Pesto Pizza

1 package dry yeast
1 serving agave nectar
1 3/4 cup whole wheat white flour
3/4 tsp salt
3 tbsp olive oil
2/3 cup water, warm (120 degrees)
4 oz. goat's milk mozzarella, shredded
3 tbsp parmesan, grated
1/3 cup pesto
1/4 cup onions, sliced thinly
3/4 cup grapes, red
2 cloves garlic

Recipe Directions for Pesto Pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix yeast with 1 cup flour. Add water, agave nectar, and olive oil and mix for 1 minute. Gradually add 1/2 cup flour to form a dough ball. Knead the dough on a floured surface, adding more flour as needed to prevent sticking. Roll out to form a 12-inch circle and place on a greased pizza pan.

  2. Top with pesto, garlic, onion, and cheeses.

  3. Bake for 15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
