Recipe Ingredients for persian walnut cookies

6 egg whites
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 pound powder sugar
1/2 cup bread crumbs
6 cups walnuts

Recipe Directions for persian walnut cookies

  1. beat the egg whites with half the sugar until airy

  2. add the rest of the powdered sugar and continue beating until fluffy, but not dry

  3. add the brown sugar and continue beating

  4. add bread crumbs

  5. slowly start adding ground walnuts, until the mixture is heavy but settles in very slowly. You might need some more walnuts if the mixture is too wet

  6. scoop with ice-cream scooper onto a cookie sheet covered with papaer; do not spray with oil

  7. bake in a 350 oven for 20-25 minutes
