Recipe Ingredients for peri-peri muffins

1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup milk
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup finely chopped peanuts

Recipe Directions for peri-peri muffins

  1. preheat the oven to 400 degrees f. cream the butter, salt, chile powder,

  2. and sugar until the mixture is light; mix in the eggs and milk. sift the

  3. baking powder and the flour together. add this mixture to the creamed

  4. mixture and stir until the ingredients are blended. stir in 1/2 cup of the

  5. peanuts. fill the greased muffin tins about 1/3 full and sprinkle the

  6. tops of the muffins with remaining peanuts. bake at 400 degrees for 12

  7. minutes.
