Delicious cookie...just one makes a wonderful dessert, or coffee break snack.

Recipe Ingredients for Perfect Oatmeal Cookie

3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 cup flour
1 cup oats
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup pecans
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
12 oz chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Perfect Oatmeal Cookie

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Line baking sheets with parchment.

  2. Cream butter and sugars together. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, oats, baking soda and salt. Stir into sugar/butter mixture. Blend well. Stir in raisins, chips and pecans.

  3. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto baking sheets.

  4. Bake 8 - 14 minutes, depending on how soft or crisp you want the cookies. I bake for 10.

  5. Remove from pans about a couple of minutes and cool on racks.
