Recipe Ingredients for Perfect Lasagna

375 g lasagna noodles
1 pound ground beef
4 oz canned mushrooms
32 ounces Classico tomato & basil sauce
3 c mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 c parmesan cheese, shredded
2 1/2 c lowfat cottage cheese
3 eggs

Recipe Directions for Perfect Lasagna

  1. Cook noodles as directed.

  2. Brown ground beef and add mushrooms & spaghetti sauce.

  3. Mix together eggs & cottage cheese (use more or less as desired).

  4. Spread about 1 c of meat & sauce mix in the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Then top with noodles, more sauce, cottage cheese & egg mix, and mozzarella & parmesan cheese. Alternate layers, leaving plenty of cheese for the top of the lasagna. Cover with foil.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, remove foil, and bake another 10 minutes to brown cheese. Let set 10 minutes before cutting.

  6. **Baking time may vary depending on the type of noodles used & whether you boil them before hand.**
