stromboli adapted from betterhomes and gardens dieter's cookbook and bread machine bread recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Pepperoni Stromboli

2 tsp salt
2 tsp yeast
1 1/3 cups nonfat milk
1/3 cup water
2 tbsp oil
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups wheat, milled
3 cups wheat flour, white
4 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 large onion, diced
1/2 cup olives, diced
1/2 cup olives, green,diced
3 oz pepperoni

Recipe Directions for Pepperoni Stromboli

  1. mix bread ingredients in bowl

  2. knead

  3. let rise in 110 degree oven for 10 minutes

  4. roll out 1/3 of dough onto a cookie sheet

  5. add 1/3 onions,pepperoni,olives and cheeses

  6. spread evenly over dough

  7. roll up dough and seal edges with water

  8. baste with milk

  9. repeat with other 2/3 dough

  10. sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top

  11. cook for 20 minutes
