Recipe Ingredients for Pepperoni Buns

3 tsp yeast
1/2 c warm water
1 tsp sugar
2 c milk, scalded
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c butter
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
7 cups bread flour
12 oz mozzarella cheese
4 oz sliced pepperoni

Recipe Directions for Pepperoni Buns

  1. Put yeast, 1 tsp sugar & 1/2 c warm water in a container to work. After it bubbles up add the scalded, butter, eggs, salt until well blended.

  2. Add flour 1 cup at a time until well blended.

  3. Knead out until all flour is combined and let raise until it doubles in size. Punch down and cut into 32 even pieces. Roll out dough and place 2 slices of pepperoni & thin slices of cheese in each bun. Place on a baking sheet and let raise again. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 and let cool on a cooling rack.
