6 Chicken breasts with 1/3 cup sauce per breast

Recipe Ingredients for Peppered Chicken in Marsala Sauce

3 lbs Skinless Bone-In Split Breasts
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp salt
2 c fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp butter
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 c organic chicken stock
1/4 c dry Marsala wine
1/2 tsp. browning sauce

Recipe Directions for Peppered Chicken in Marsala Sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Skin chicken and brush with oil; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange on 15x10x1 baking pan. Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes or until 170 degrees.

  2. Melt butter in medium saucepan. Add mushrooms and cook until tender. Stir in flour and salt. Cook one minute. Add broth, browning sauce (Kitchen Bouquet)and wine. Cook and stir over med. heat until thick and bubbly.
