Same another pepper steak here but no tomatos and only 1 T oil

Recipe Ingredients for Pepper Steak

1 lb steak, round
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/8 tsp black pepper, ground
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup water (or beef stock) (or wine)
1 cup green pepper, (sliced)
1 cup red pepper (sliced)
1 large onion, sliced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced

Recipe Directions for Pepper Steak

  1. Cut meat into thin strips.

  2. Combine next 4 ingredients in glass bowl.

  3. Add meat and toss to coat.

  4. Drain meat well.

  5. Heat oil in large skillet and brown the meat.

  6. Stir in water (or stock) and marinade; cover & simmer for 1/2 hour.

  7. Add green peppers, onion and mushrooms; simmer until tender -5 to 10 minutes.
