This pepper steak recipe is easy to make. Serve with brown rice.

Recipe Ingredients for Pepper Steak - Basic

1 pound stew beef, tenderized
1 large green bell pepper
1 large red bell pepper
1 large yellow onion
2 beef bouillon cubes
1/4 t. black pepper
1/4 t. seasoning salt
1 T. olive oil
1/2 c. water

Recipe Directions for Pepper Steak - Basic

  1. 1. Slice onion, green pepper and red pepper into stripes.

  2. 2. In a skillet or wok, add olive oil. Braise stew beef until slightly brown. Add peppers and onions. Continue to cook until peppers and onions are slightly tender.

  3. 3. Add 1/2 cup of water and bouillon cubes.

  4. 4. Continue to stir fry mixture to desired tenderness and bouillon cubes are dissolved.

  5. 5. Serve (over brown rice).
