Recipe Ingredients for Pepper Beef and Mushroom Stew

3 oz Beef, Top Sirloin
2 cup Potatoes, Boiled
1 cup, chopped Carrots
0.5 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
2.25 cup, diced Mushrooms, Portabella
0.75 cup Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds
2.67 oz Wine, Table, Red
1 tsp Pepper, Black
1 tbsp Corn Starch

Recipe Directions for Pepper Beef and Mushroom Stew

  1. Cut meet into ? cubes. Place in Dutch oven. Add enough water to cover and simmer until meet is tender; about 30 minutes.

  2. Dice potatoes and carrots; julienne bell peppers; add potatoes, carrots, and red bell pepper to pot and simmer another 30 minutes.

  3. Dice mushrooms; add to pot along with chickpeas and wine; simmer an additional 15 minutes.

  4. Add pepper and corn starch to thicken. Salt to taste and serve.
