Recipe Ingredients for Penne with Sweet Peas and Prosciutto

1 lb. penne pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
6 tbsp butter
1 onion, chopped
4 oz prosciutto, halved
10 ounce peas
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp grated lemon peel

Recipe Directions for Penne with Sweet Peas and Prosciutto

  1. Cook pasta 12 min. Toss with oil.

  2. While pasta is cooking, heat 1 tbsp butter over med heat. Add onion and cook for 5 min. Add prosciutto and cook for 2 minutes, and add peas and cook for 3 min.

  3. Toss mixture with pasta in pot, adding 5 tbsp butter, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and lemon peel.

  4. Serve pasta with more cheese if desired
