Low calorie but filling pasta and shrimp dish

Recipe Ingredients for Penne with Shrimp, Tomato and Herbs

1 lb shrimp, cooked
1 lb penne pasta
1 tsp vegetable oil
1 onion, large, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
28 oz tomatoes, undrained, chopped
2 tsp basil, dried
1 tsp oregano, dried
1/2 cup parsley, fresh, chopped
2 tbsp parmesan cheese, grated

Recipe Directions for Penne with Shrimp, Tomato and Herbs

  1. Cook pasta until tender but firm; drain and return to pot

  2. In nonstick pan, heat oil over med heat; cook onion until tender; add garlic, tomatoes, basil, oregano; simmer uncovered for 10 mins. Add shrimp. Pour over pasta; toss to mix. Sprinkle with parsley, pepper and parmesan. Toss again.
