Recipe Ingredients for Penne with Five Cheeses

2 cups light cream
1 cup tomatoes, crushed in thick tomato puree
1/2 cup parmesan, grated
1/2 cup fontina, shredded
1/2 cup gorgonzola, crumbled
2 tbsp ricotta cheese
1/4 lb fresh mozzarella, sliced
6 fresh basil leaves, chopped
1 lb penne, cooked

Recipe Directions for Penne with Five Cheeses

  1. preheat oven to 500 degrees.

  2. combine all ingredients except penne in a large mixing bowl. Mix well.

  3. Parboil the penne for 4 minutes. drain well and then add to the other ingredients. Toss to combine.

  4. Divide pasta mixture among 6 shallow ceramic gratin dishes.

  5. Bake until bubble and brown on top. 7-10 minutes.
