Recipe Ingredients for Pecan Pie Muffins

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup chopped pecans
1 stick butter
2 eggs
1 tablespoon pancake syrup

Recipe Directions for Pecan Pie Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Mix sugar and flour in a large bowl.

  3. In a smaller bowl, melt the butter and let sit until room temperature.

  4. Mix in the eggs with butter and pour into bowl with flour and sugar.

  5. Stir until combined, but do not beat.

  6. Stir in syrup and pecans.

  7. Pour into greased muffin tins.

  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes and then let cool.
