Recipe Ingredients for Peas in White Sauce

1 cup frozen peas, thawed and cooked
2 tablespoons margarine
2 tablespoons wheat flour
1 cup light soy milk

Recipe Directions for Peas in White Sauce

  1. Melt margarine in a small saucepan. Add flour and stir to combine.

  2. Add milk and stir/whisk until butter/flour pieces have disolved. Reduce heat to low and simmer as sauce thickens.

  3. Meanwhile, in a microwave-safe bowl, cook peas. Drain.

  4. When sauce has thickened, add cooked peas and stir to coat. Let simmer another minute or so until sauce has thickened.
