or bacon depending upon what you have. Real recipe calls for more oil, if you use a non-stick skillet you should be fine with just a bit. Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Ingredients for Peas with Prosciutto

2 oz prosciutto
1/2 onion, chopped
2 t olive oil
12 oz peas
1/4 t black pepper

Recipe Directions for Peas with Prosciutto

  1. roughly chop bacon and saute with onion til bacon begins to crisp and onion browns a bit. If you used fatty bacon drain off the excess.

  2. add peas and 1 T water, continue to saute til hot throughout - if it looks dry add a bit more olive oil.

  3. season and serve immediately.
