Recipe Ingredients for Pear and Mango Crisp

2 pear, medium (approx 2-1/2 per lb) Pears
1 Mango
1/4 cup flour
4 tbs sugar
3 tbs butter
1 pinch ginger

Recipe Directions for Pear and Mango Crisp

  1. Slice pears and mangos into spears and toss together in a buttered oven-safe dish

  2. In a small bowl, mix flour, sugar, and ginger. Add butter and mash with fingers until you form a crumb texture.

  3. Sprinkle flour mixture over fruit and tap dish on the table to settle some to the bottom. Sprinkle with a pinch of ginger (dried or crystallized).

  4. Place into a 375 degree oven for about 45 minutes or until slightly browned.
