Delicious, not too heavy. Satisfying.

Recipe Ingredients for Pear Bread

3 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups pears, peeled and grated
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
2 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp baking powder
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp baking soda

Recipe Directions for Pear Bread

Preheat oven to 325F. Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine remaining 5 ingredients in a separate bowl and stir into dry ingredients, until just moistened. Spoon mixture into 2 buttered 8.5x4.5 in. loaf pans. Bake 1-1/4 hours or until a tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans
