Recipe Ingredients for Pear/ Almond crumble

1/4 c butter, melted
3/4 c whole wheat flour
1/3 c toasted almonds, chopped
1/3 c brown sugar
1/3 c sugar
1/2 t ground ginger
1/2 t cinnamon
2 pears, medium

Recipe Directions for Pear/ Almond crumble

  1. mix 1/2 C flour, brown sugar, and almonds

  2. Add mleted butter and mix until crumbly

  3. mix sugar, ginger, cinnamon, and remaining flour

  4. add sliced pears to mixture and coat

  5. pour fruit into a greased 8x8" pan

  6. sprinkle with topping mix and bake at 350F for 35 minutes, or until fruit is bubbly and top is browned

  7. optional: top with whipped topping or frozen vanilla yogurt
