These delicious muffins have a great, rich, flavorful taste. Frost them with almondt carob dip made with peanut butter instead of almond butter

Recipe Ingredients for Peanut Carob Swirl Muffins

2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, natural
1/2 cup skim milk
1 1/2 cup apple juice, concentrate
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup carob

Recipe Directions for Peanut Carob Swirl Muffins

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F

  2. Melt carob over low heat

  3. Mix all dry ingredients

  4. Blend all remaining ingredients

  5. Combine both mixture

  6. Bake in oven 15 minutes
