Peanut butter, peanut butter chips, and honey-roasted peanuts make these protein bars peanut-licious! A satisfying way to rebuild muscles and replace lost glycogen stores from endurance exercise.

Recipe Ingredients for Peanut Butter Mania Protein Bars

7 cups oats
7 scoops whey protein
1 cup powdered milk
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
1/2 cup peanuts
1/3 cup ground flax seed
3/4 cup corn syrup
1/3 c honey

Recipe Directions for Peanut Butter Mania Protein Bars

Grind oats in food processor till fine. Add whey protein, powdered milk, flax seed. Process a few pulses. Add peanut butter, vanilla, and nuts. Process until chunky blended. Drizzle corn syrup through top until motion stops in the processor. Press into pan and roll flat. Press chips into bars randomly, as many or as few as desired. Cut into bars and place in snack baggies. Store in freezer 6 months or fridge for a month. (or the counter for a few days; they don't go bad on the counter, but they do get harder.) Grab a bar on the way out to the gym or to take on a long run.
