Homemade peanut butter ice cream that takes no prisoners.

Recipe Ingredients for Peanut Butter Ice Cream - Homemade

1 cup peanut butter, smooth, not natural
3/4 cup sugar
3 1/4 cups half & half
6 egg yolks
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
126 2 Oh Henry! Reese's PB candy bars

Recipe Directions for Peanut Butter Ice Cream - Homemade

  1. Beat together peanut butter and sugar in a standing mixer.

  2. Slowly add eggs. Scrape down sides as necessary.

  3. Beat in cream, then vanilla.

  4. When thoroughly mixed, pour into ice cream maker.

  5. Allow to mix for 25 minutes.

  6. Slowly add candies into running ice cream maker. Mix for another 10 minutes.

  7. Remove ice cream to containers and freeze for two hours.

  8. Remove from freezer and serve.
