Recipe Ingredients for Peanut Butter Granola Bars

1 egg white
1/2 cup peanut butter, chunky
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups oats
1/4 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
1/3 cup chocolate chips, miniature

Recipe Directions for Peanut Butter Granola Bars

  1. pre heat oven to 350*

  2. spray 7 x 10 3/4 nonstick baking pan with pam, lay a 6 x 18 piece of parchment paper in the pan, allowing the paper to hang over the sides. spray the paper lightly.

  3. in med bowl, beat the egg white til frothy. stir in peanut butter, brown sugar and honey. add melted butter, oats and peanuts. stir to combine, then add choc chips.

  4. using rubber spatula, spread mixture into pan and press lightly to form an even layer. bake until edge of mixture begins to brown, a/b 15 min. remove from oven and let cool for 1 hour
