Nice energy boost with protein from the peanut butter and fibre from the oats!

Recipe Ingredients for peanut butter flapjacks

75 g crispy rice cereal
150 g porridge oats
75 g sultanas
75 g brown sugar
100 ml golden syrup
125 g crunchy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for peanut butter flapjacks

  1. Mix dry ingredients together

  2. heat syrup and brown sugar in a pan over a medium heat until just boiling, remove from heat and mix in peanut butter and vanilla

  3. Combine with the dry mix and mix together well

  4. Place in a tin of some description and press down with the back of a spoon then set aside to cool and set.
