Recipe Ingredients for Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake

1 1/4 cracker crumbs (graham)
4 oreo cookies, crushed
1/4 cup sugar
6 tbsp butter
3/4 cup peanut butter
24 oz cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup hot fudge, divided
6 peanut butter cups, chopped

Recipe Directions for Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake

  1. In a bowl, combine first four ingredients.

  2. Press into the bottom and 1 inch up the sides of a 9 inch springform pan.

  3. Bake for 7 - 9 minutes at 350.

  4. Cool on a wire rack.

  5. Microwave the peanut butter until smooth and spread over the cooled crust.

  6. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and sour cream until smooth.

  7. Add eggs and beat on low just until combined.

  8. Stir in vanilla.

  9. Put one cup aside and pour remaining into the crust.

  10. Heat 1/4 cup of hot fudge and mix with set aside filling.

  11. Spoon onto vanilla filling and swirl with a knife.

  12. Bake for 55 - 65 minutes at 350.

  13. Cool for 10 minutes on wire rack and then run a knife around the edges to loosen.

  14. Cool one hour longer.

  15. Heat remaining hot fudge and spread over cooled cake.

  16. Garnish with chopped peanut butter cups.

  17. Refrigerate overnight.
