Great high protein and a decent amount of fiber for breakfast or a post-workout snack. Add dried fruit of your choice (I like cranberries) for extra nutrition and flavor.

Recipe Ingredients for peanut butter cheerio bars

1 cup simply jif peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup honey roasted peanuts
3 cups mutli-grain cheerios

Recipe Directions for peanut butter cheerio bars

  1. mix cheerios and almonds in a bowl, set aside.

  2. melt honey & sugar on stovetop, bring to a boil.

  3. boil mixture for one minute.

  4. stir in peanut butter til smooth.

  5. stir in peanuts.

  6. pour over cheerios and almonds in a separate bowl.

  7. spread into an 8x8 lightly greased pan

  8. cool & cut into bars
