Recipe Ingredients for Peanut Butter Cereal Bars

6 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. pumpkin seeds
1/2 c. sunflower seeds
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. sugar
16 oz. peanut butter
1 t. vanilla
2 T. wheat germ
2 T. ground flax seed

Recipe Directions for Peanut Butter Cereal Bars

Combine 6 cups cereal (3 c. Rice Krispies, 3 c. Weeto?s), 1 cups raisins, cup sunflower seeds (or slivered almonds) (can add 1 cups chocolate chips or other mix-ins) in a large bowl. Combine 1 cup honey and cup sugar in a medium and heat over medium heat 3 to 5 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil. Boil 1 minute then add 16 oz. peanut butter nd 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir until peanut butter is melted then pour over cereal mixture. Mix well and press into greased baking pan. When cool, cut into bars. This is quite sweet?I think next time try with cup or less sugar and will mix in wheat germ.
