Recipe Ingredients for Peanut Butter Bars

3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, beat till fluffy
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup peanut butter
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup flour, oats
2 1/4 cup oats
1 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup powder sugar
1/4 cup milk

Recipe Directions for Peanut Butter Bars

  1. Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar.

  2. Add eggs, vanilla, 2/3 cup peanut butter, baking soda, salt, oat flour, and oats. Mix till well combined. Pour mixture into a 13x9 pan.

  3. Bake at 350 or 325 for 15 minutes, or until lightly browned.

  4. As soon as you pull out of the oven, sprinkle the chocolate chips on it and allow them to melt.

  5. While chocolate melts, mix together peanut butter, powder sugar and milk until it is a smooth frosting. Drizzle (or plop) peanut butter frosting on the chocolate and swirl a knife through it to marble it.

  6. Allow to cool before cutting (if you can!).
