Note: Calls for almond butter made without oil. The almonds measurement below is for calorie calulation.

Recipe Ingredients for Peach / Vanilla Oatmeal Breakfast Bars

1 1/2 cups oats
1 1/2 cups water
3 tbls almonds
3 cups peaches (canned OK if in own juice)
1 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Peach / Vanilla Oatmeal Breakfast Bars

  1. Boil water, combine with oats. Cook until thick. Set aside to cool.

  2. Drain peaches, if canned, chop peaches, add vanilla (I like to let this soak for a few minutes), mix in almond almond butter(I make my own without oil).

  3. Combine oatmeal and peach mixture together.

  4. Spray baking pan with cooking oil. I prefer 6.5 x 9" stoneware pan.

  5. Bake @ 350 for 30-25 minutes. Texture should be chewy.

  6. Cut into 3 sections.
