9/20 cup Brown Sugar
0.66 cup butter
4 peaches
1 1/2 cup flour
0.66 tablespoon baking powder
1.32 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
0.5 cup milk
1.13 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe Directions for Peach Upside Down Cake

  1. In small saucepan, combine brown sugar and 4 tablespoons butter; melt stirring to combine Spread on bottom of cake pan. Arrange peaches over brown sugar.

  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and cinnamon. In large brown, beat remaining butter with granulated sugar until creamy. Beat in egg yolks. Alternately beat in flour mixture with milk and vanilla until well blended. in small bow, beat egg whites to stiff peaks. Fold egg whites into batter. Spread over peach slices. Bake for 55-60 minutes at 350, or until a cake tester comes out dry. Cool for ten minutes then turn onto plate.
