Recipe Ingredients for Peach Crisp

3 medium (2-1/2" dia) (approx 4 per lb) Peaches
3/4 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
2 oz Sugar Dark Brown
1.99 oz Butter
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 tsp Cloves, Ground

Recipe Directions for Peach Crisp

  1. Cut peaches into wedges (peeled or unpeeled) and arrange in small pie tin.

  2. Sprinkle on 1 tsp ground cloves and toss.

  3. Heat oven to 375 degrees

  4. Mix streusel together with fork in small bowl:

  5. 3/4 cup flour

  6. 1/4 cup brown sugar

  7. 1/2 stick butter

  8. 1 t cinnamon

  9. Crumble with fork and fingers til only small pea-size chunks remain. Sprinkle on top of peach slices, mounding it up.

  10. Sprinkle topping with a few sprays of water.

  11. Bake 20 minutes. Turn off oven and leave in for 10 minutes more.

  12. Serve with 1 tablespoon milk drizzled on top, with ice cream or vanilla yogurt.
