Healthy Peach Compote for Pancakes/Waffles

Recipe Ingredients for Peach Compote

29 ounce can Peaches
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup soy milk
2 tablespoons arrowroot powder
2 tablespoons brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Peach Compote

  1. Add the can of peaches into a pan (juice and all).

  2. Add the cinnamon & soy milk.

  3. Heat the mixture until hot.

  4. Add 2 tablespoons of arrowroot powder to a glass and stir in some of the hot juice from the peaches.

  5. Stir to dissolve.

  6. Add the arrowroot mixture into the pan with the peaches and stir until thickened.

  7. Serve over multi grain waffles or pancakes for a healthy & tasty breakfast the whole family will love!
