Recipe Ingredients for Peach Cobbler

1 cup sugar
2 tbsp flour, all-purpose
1/4 tsp nutmeg
4 cups sliced peaches, fresh

Topping:
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour, all-purpose
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 egg, beaten

Recipe Directions for Peach Cobbler

In a bowl, combine sugar, flour & nutmeg. Add peaches, stir to coat. Pour into a greased 11" x 7" pan. For topping combine sugar, flour, baking powder and salt; cut in the butter until the misture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in egg. Spoon over peaches. Bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes or until filling is bubbly & topping is golden.
