Recipe Ingredients for Peach Cobbler

6 cups peaches, peeled and sliced
1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 cup splenda sugar blend
1 cup water
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup splenda sugar blend
1 1/2 cups flour, self rising
1 1/2 cups milk

Recipe Directions for Peach Cobbler

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Combine peaches, cinnamon and lemon juic in a bowl.

  3. Stir 1 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar blend in a saucepan over medium heat, until simmering, 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in peaches. Cook until peaches soften, Add one tablespoon of corn starch to a little water, mix and add to the peaches. Continue continue cooking until the liquid is somewhat syrupy. Set aside.

  4. Combine the 1 1/2 cup flour and the 1/2 cup sugar blend in a large bowl. Add the milk and stir until the batter is well blended.

  5. In a oven proof container, melt the butter on the stove top. Pour in the batter. Gently place the peach mixture on top of the batter. As the cobbler bakes the peaches will sink into the batter.

  6. Bake until the syrup is bubbling and the crust has risen and is golden brown, about 50 to 55 minutes.

  7. Remove from oven. Allow to cool slightly. Serve
