Recipe Ingredients for PB and Chocolate Protein Bar

3 scoops whey protein powder
1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup oat bran
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup rice crispies
1 cup fat free plain yogurt
1/2 cup all natural peanut butter
1/2 cup skim milk

Recipe Directions for PB and Chocolate Protein Bar

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F (325 for a glass container) and grease a 9"x13" pan and cookie sheet.

  2. Mix all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl

  3. Mix all of the wet ingredients in a small bowl. Soften the peanut butter in the microwave to ease mixing.

  5. Spread the batter evenly in the pan.

  6. Bake for 20 minutes.

  7. Let cool for approximately 30 minutes.

  8. Cut the bars into desired size (12 or 16 works well) and then place on cookie sheet.

  9. Bake for 10 more minutes.
