My homemade energy bar recipe. Full of goodness and pretty bloody tasty.

Recipe Ingredients for Paul's Energy Bars

75 grams Rice Flour, White
1 serving Neils Dried Dates and Bananas
75 grams Almonds
1 serving Neils Hazlenuts
1 serving Neils Dried Apricots
1 serving Neils Omega Seeds
1 serving Neils Sweetened Dried Coconut
120 grams Raisins, Seedless
3 tbsp Honey Squeezable
3 tbsp Lyle's Golden Syrup
200 grams Butter
170 grams Oats
70 grams Instant Nonfat Dry Milk
50 grams Sugars, Brown
2 large Egg, Whole
1 serving Green and Blacks Dark Cooks Chocolate

Recipe Directions for Paul's Energy Bars

  1. Roughly chop all the nuts and friut.

  2. Melt the sugars, butter, honey and syrup over a low heat.

  3. Whisk the eggs. Mix in with all the dry ingredients.

  4. Stir through the sugar syrup.

  5. Smooth into a greased baking tin and bake at 180c for 20 minutes.

  6. Remove, cool and then cut into 30 pieces.

  7. Coat with a topping of melted chocolate.

  8. Price per bar as of March 2012, 44p!!!
