Recipe Ingredients for Paula's Crockpot Beef Stew

2 celery stalks
2 cups carrots
1/2 cup green onions
1 large sweet onion
8 oz sliced mushrooms
4 roma tomatoes
1 large sweet potato
4 red potatoes
5 cloves garlic
1 3/10 lbs beef ribs
1 cup barley
26 oz cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup 1% milk
1/2 cup light sour cream
3 tbsp worcestershire
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp pepper
1/20 cup thai chiles
1/2 cup barley

Recipe Directions for Paula's Crockpot Beef Stew

  1. slice up potatoes, garlic, celery, thai chili, carrots, onions, tomatoes, and beef ribs. Place in a large crockpot. Then add sliced mushrooms, worcestershire, mushroom soup, milk, salt/pepper. Add various seasonings to taste (ex. basil, oregano, thyme)

  2. Cook for 6 hrs and then add barley.

  3. Cook another 1.5 hrs and add sour cream.

  4. Cook another 30 mins. Done!
