Recipe Ingredients for Paula Deen's crab cakes

1 lb. imitation crab meat
4 servings Ritz crackers
1 medium bell pepper
1 large egg
1/4 cup fat free mayonnaise

Recipe Directions for Paula Deen's crab cakes

  1. Mix everything together.

  2. Form into patties (this recipe makes nine patties)

  3. Dredge in flour and fry in a shallow amount of peanut oil 4-5 mintues on each side -or-

  4. Skip the flour, drop by spoonfuls on a greased baking sheet, and broil. Flip after 4 or 5 minutes.
