Recipe Ingredients for Paula Deen's Beef Stroganoff

24 oz Beef, Top Loin
2 tbsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Butter
1 medium Onions
8 oz Mushrooms
10.75 oz Beef Broth
10 oz Cream of Mushroom Soup
8 oz Sour Cream
10 oz Noodles, Egg

Recipe Directions for Paula Deen's Beef Stroganoff

  1. According to Paula Deen this is four 4 servings, although with the extra mushrooms I added it served 6 until they were pleasantly full.

  2. Season steak with salt, pepper and garlic powder then dust with flour. In a large skilled, quickly brown beef in olive oil and butter.

  3. Add the onion and mushrooms to pan with drippings. Saute for a few minutes until the onion is tender. Sprinkle with 1 tsp of flour. Put the steak back into the pan with the onion and mushrooms. Add onion soup and beef broth. Cook over low heat for about 30 minutes, covered.

  4. Serve over cooked egg noodles.
