Recipe Ingredients for Paula Deen Country Captain Chicken

2 tbsp Oil, Vegetable Corn, Salad Or Cooking
1 tbsp Butter
50 oz Whole Cut Up
1 large Onions
1 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
1 clove Garlic
28 oz Original Diced Tomatoes
0.33 cup Currants

Recipe Directions for Paula Deen Country Captain Chicken

350 oven. Cut chicken 8pcs. Brown in oil & butter. Trsf to plate. In pan saute onion and bell pepper (both chopped) Add garlic (chopped), curry & cook 30 sec. Add tomatoes & currants bring to boil. Adjust salt & pepper tt. Return chicken and juices. Put uncovered pan in oven cook till chicken done--40 min. can serve over rice (extra cal.)
