Recipe Ingredients for Pat's garlic omelette

3 Egg Whites
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 cup onions, diced
1 1/2 cups mushrooms, sliced
3 cloves garlic
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for Pat's garlic omelette

  1. Prepare all ingredients; heat olive oil on medium heat in wok or frying pan.

  2. Saute onions, garlic and mushrooms in heated olive oil over medium heat.

  3. Mix egg whites and cheese (add salt and pepper to taste).

  4. Spray large frying pan with non-stick cook spray and heat to medium.

  5. Add egg/cheese mixture and cover.

  6. When mixture is cooked halfway through, cover with mushroom, onion and garlic mix.

  7. Cover until almost fully cooked through.

  8. Flip one side over the other to form half moon, and leave for about 1 minute.

  9. Flip over and heat about 1 more minute to brown other side.

  10. Serve hot.
