Recipe Ingredients for Patchwork Soup

1/2 cup dried split peas
1/2 cup uncooked white rice
1/2 cup dry lentils
1/2 cup barley
1 medium onion
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dried sage
10 cups water

Recipe Directions for Patchwork Soup

  1. Place ingredients in large stockpot and cover with 10 cups of water.

  2. Bring to a boil, lower heat, cover and cook for 30 minutes to an hour.
